ksg on the ee for 1600 bucks

I actually would like to test one, the 26.1" OAL means a lot to those of us working remote in the north/territories etc and traveling with a gun in and out of various modes of transport a lot.

That said, I talked this this guy, and decided I don't want to pay out the nose to test it sooner rather than later. It'll take a long time for the price of this gun to come down, Keltec can't keep up, but I'll get one when it does. I actually think his price is fair given the current conditions and prices stateside, + import costs.

I've often thought that if I invented/manufactured a new cool black gun, I would price the first batch of 50 or 100 guns higher than normal, then drop the price down a few hundred bucks from then on.

Sort of opposite to the usual "Opening Day Special", but if some here are so eager to have it NOW, ,why not get some extra working capital for a new company?

The SHTF people are going nuts for this shotty. My thinking is if you need more than 7 rounds of 12g you are dead or should really re think your strategy.

Mall ninja firearm, and marketed as such, Zombie blaster

Cool Shotty though
Comments like this are hilarious...mall ninja eh? If we adhered to this logic, there would also be no need to own any handguns...they also serve no use in Canada in the hands of the general public. The reason someone would want an AWESOME gun like the KSG is the same reason that someone would want a Glock, Sig, Colt whatever handgun...they are fun and for some of us, they will also serve as protection IF needed and the more rounds available, the better. I already own an 870 and a 590, but I will be buying a KSG when they are available...because I can, just like I can buy hollow point ammo, lasers and flashlights and any other "mall ninja" stuff.

I just saw that one also...OMG! If that thing sells I just might have to throw mine up for sale (which has more on it by the way, wink, wink)...yikes!

I think I'll wait a year and see how people like them, if there are any teething issues with the design, problems, etc.

Good idea, first commercial manufcaturing runs on new products has the potential to have unforseen design problems or defects that don't show up until a bunch of them get into the hands of consumers.

Better to buy 2nd or 3rd year of production cars and guns, IMO.

WOW, just saw one on the EE for 2500$.

Well, I suppose there's being reasonable......
..being greedy.......and then there's just plain stupid.

200+% markup !!!!!! IMO you'd hafta be on crack to pay that for something that is unproven. Sheesh......
Anyone who pays that inflated amount is immediately taking a loss - as they will never get their $$ back as more become available over time.

I agree completely with Blaxsun - wait until the teething issues are worked-out and availability improves....prices drop.
