Looking to save myself a lot of emailing, which dealers have no money down wait lists? For those of you lucky enough to get one what was the wait time like? Thanks.

I didn't have to put anything down at Wanstalls (but I have bought a lot of stuff there). I got my KSG in the first batch that came in but I put in the request almost a year before.

Umm...no. Dumping 14 rounds quickly through it is pretty exciting...but really, my DA Grizz all tact'd out is almost as fun...just not as many rounds.

As much as I love P&D my last firearm I ordered and placed a deposit on caused me a ton of frustration. I waited nearly a year after being told it would arrive within a couple months. When I gave up and asked for a refund or store credit Dianne told me it would be here next week, then vaguely threatened me with loss of deposit if I didn't pay the balance ASAP. Thats why I am looking for a place not looking for money down. I will give wanstalls a shout I am hoping some other places pop up as well.

25? That's a short list. I would have thought dealers would stop adding names to the lists when they hit 100.

So far each dealer's had 10 KSGs (2 shipments of 5 each).

A lot of people asked to be put on the list when the gun was first announced and it wasn't a sure thing that any would be available or legal or non-restricted in Canada.

I'm number 12 on the Lanz list. First 10 are already dealt with so mines in the next shipment, should be around the holidays.

You could buy one on the ee for $10,000,000 it seems or close to it

If you think it's bad up here,

at least Vault is requiring all the Canadian dealers to stick to list prices ($995 for the KSG).

While the US list may be lower ($880), many dealers are selling them for between $1000-1400. The first ones out on Gun Broker were going for $2500, there still over a grand there.

The problem with the EE is that right now there only 100 KSGs in Canada. Most owners won't want to sell and those who are willing to sell only have to make a trip to the range on a Saturday, the gun would easily draw a crowd and many of the "shooter but not CGNer" would have no idea about the gun and value. I would expect a bidding war to start on the firing line everytime a KSG show up for quite a while.

I got mine from Lanz Shooting Supplies. I had been on the list since the gun was announced at the shot show, and received one from the first shipment. No deposit was required. I have bought a few guns from them already and they are excellent to deal with.

SAME HERE!! I've bought a few things from P&D & the last one I put a $300 deposit around March and was told "it would arrive in Sept. and don't keep calling asking when its coming". I call them in the beginning of September & was told that it came in over a month ago & they left a message on my voice mail that I never got. Cause I never called them back after there phantom voice mail they wanted to take the entire $300 deposit!!! I had to fight and argue just to get some of that deposit back but they only gave me back $200...pretty much stole $100 from me

I know many of you won't agree, but I think deposits should be mandatory. It would STOP guys from jumping on every list they can get on...

Cheers
Jay
