Ksg wont feed from magazines

I just got a second hand ksg. I just took it to shoot. It womt feed. Neither of the of magazine tubes will eject a shell to be chambered, the shells just stay in the magazines. Tried flipping the magazine selector in 3 positions and no change. If i push on the catch that holds them im they come out freely. Typing this quickly at the range so hopefully you can get what im saying. Disappointed in the purchase so far

Update: looked firther into how the gun worked when i got home. The guy had some picatinny to picatinny "adapter" type thing, probably ment to be a riser, over the rail on the forend. It wouldn't let the forend go all the way back

Play around with it and learn a little but I suspect that the previous individual put that on so that if he installed a vertical foregrip it wouldn't break on him in the end up like some of the guys you see on the internet losing a couple fingers. Probably never ended up using it after installing the rail so didn't know that it would interfere with the pump lock

Also be cognizant of the tube selector in the loading / ejection port. Center is neutral and it will not feed from either tube.

KSG's are not happy if you short stroke them, make sure you powerfully stroke it all the way to the rear and at least moderately forward and you should never have an issue!
