I was reloading some 9mm this aft. on my 20+ year old Dillon 550 B when I noticed a case without powder.

I always keep an eye on the shell to make sure there is powder in it before I seat the bullet. When I check the measure, I discovered that the piece that activates the powder drop on the measure had broken off. The aluminum casting had fractured.

So I start thinking about where I will be buying my next powder measure. Then I wonder if Dillon will cover it under the lifetime warranty. This is where it gets good.

I called Dillon on their toll free number (wish Glock had one of those!) at 3:00 pm CDT on a Saturday and a friendly Dillon employee was there to answer in one ring, tells me no problem, of course they will send out a replacement part, first thing Monday morning!

This is on a machine that has loaded 100K+ rounds in the last twenty years and is my first parts breakage.

What a great company!

If Motorola stood behind their cell phones like Dillon looks after their customers, the US economy would be in much better shape right now.

Broke a part one weekend last year on my 550 called them monday morning and had it in my hands by friday - airmail - WOW
they DEFINE customer support and service.

seems to be a company which stands behind their products.

Another company with outstanding customer service is RCBS. Once they replaced my 12 year old case tumbler with a brandnew one, after the motor died. Another time they send me a small cylinder for the powder diepenser free of charge.

No wonder that 95% of my reloading stuff comes from RCBS.

Whenever i am asked about other progressive presses by new shooters, I always try to steer the buyer to Dillon. They may cost more than some other brands, but they are more than worth it.
