As some of you might remember, I got f**ked a while back with buying a used CZ858 rifle. The rifle had been screwed with to the point that the headspace was out 2-3mm. I had a nasty OOB and had a primer anvil bounce off my shooting glasses:eek: . The buyer knew the rifle was crap but sold it to me telling me it was in perfect working order:mad: ... Long story short the rifle was pooched. Anyways, I has figured I was out the 600+ dollars. John Hipwell at Wolverine Supplies contacted me and asked me to send the rifle for him to look at. I did and he checked it out and it was not salvageable as the receiver and the barrel were non-repairable. I had bought the rifle used and it had been imported not by John Hipwell, but the other importer of CZ858 rifles out in the G.Van area. I had no warranty at all left on the rifle. John Hipwell offered to replace the rifle with a new one for just the cost of the shipping. I of course agreed and received my brand spanking new CZ 858 rifle today.

I just want to publicly thank John Hipwell at Wolverine Supplies for going far far far above and beyond as my rifle had nothing to do with him, but rather his competitor. Thanks John! You get 3 dancing bananas for being a great guy! :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana:

You'll never get that type of service from a non-firearms industry. I don't  beleive I have ever done business with Wolverine yet:eek:, BUT the complimentary comments on this website all but guarentee that I will.:dancingbanana:

Its good to see customer service is not dead. I haven't dealt with Wolverine but I know people who have and they are a top notch outfit. In fact I am on my way out there tommorrow to check out some goodies that I might want to purchase. PS I hope his shipment of South African surplus has arrived :dancingbanana:

Comes with a 6 round test target and has been proof tested at factory. Mine had been severely bubba'd, barrel was drilled, tapped and screwed into place with machine screws and the ears to hold barrel pin in had been ground off...

Yeah... 'Had a major failure with a brand new ar180b I bought from W. supp.
A phone call and a trip to the post office and it was taken care of.
I assume they took it up with Armalite re. the defective part, but I didn't have to do a thing...

I bought an HK SL8 from the guys at Wolverine and they are top notch all the way. They are worthy of support from all the Gun Nutz.

Unlike some other posers in the industry.

cough, cough, MARSTAR, cough, cough...

did the previous owner do this?

i heard good things about wolverine , my bro inlaw swear by it.

I have been dealing with John and Pat Hipwell for many ayear....
The service, attention to detail, and backup has been second to none.
These people..."walk the walk" as well as ''talk the talk''...an attribute that is,
unfortunately, not universal across the 'business' in Canada..
I must admit, the service and care I have received over the years from most of commercial firearms emporiums has been exemplary.
While I'm at it, hats off to the boys from TSE, Epp's, William's Arms, and
Al Simmons'... all good people providing products and services above and beyond the call of duty...(Wow...sounds a f**king Oscar acceptance speech!)

I have been dealing with the Wolverine gang for years now, and I have had excellent service. Come to think of it, I can't think of a month were "Wolverine .." does not appear on my credit card statement.
