I thought this was a interesting if not obscure revolver as it competed against the Webley to replace the flawed Enfeild .
Bore diameter measures .485 the Brits were true believers of the lead bullet up set theory .meaning that the soft lead hollow base bullets would bump up to bore size as with the 41 colt .Now I have .476 Enfeild and can say that yes they do bump up to bore size . The bore on my Enfeild is .472-.473 they chamber mouths are only .460 and I can say that while you could hit a man sized target at 20 YDS my S&W in 44 Russian is far more accurate.
You can see its a double action that uses the Adams Tranter conversion style double trigger. It was made under Henery Schlunds Pat. of 1885-86

Theres a Good Artical in the Latest Handloader Magazine about the 476 Enfield revolver round you should try and get that mag if your shooting a 476 enfield.
Also a Artical in the same mag on Chamber throats and Bores Dia by Mike Venturino.
I agree 100% with Mike if your Chamber throats are say .452 and the bores ..452 the gun should be and Ex shooter.
I have 3 guns set up with Exact Chamber throat matching the mint bores in 44 SP and in 45 schofield they all shoot Ex 1.5 inch groups off a rest is posible with a good SWC keith type bullet.

I have some RNHB .458 Dia HB Bullets about 260 gr that i shoot in my Webley WGs and they shoot well to but the Bullets still have to fill out some.

So HB bullets are great in guns with Bores Larger than the Chamber throats.

But if your guns set up with Chamber throat Matching Bore Dia then if the Timeing and line up are right on you should shoot good.

Thanks I will look for it although I don't shoot it much I'm always interested in what people have come up with .I have a heeled hollow base mold for mine that I got from Ralph. Huffaker in the US that works very well . but it isn't no tack driver.
