Hello CGNers,
I trying to make some early plans for ducks and geese hunting this season and was looking for a guide hunting the the GTA, <1 hour from Mississauga.
I think the area south of 89, west of 400, east of 6, and of course north of the 401 would fit the criteria.
Anywhere around Caledon, Brampton, Guelph, Orangeville, Alliston and Halton Hills would be fine.
Please let me know if you know someone.

Much appreciated,
Mo

Check with "waterfowler" on the board. If I'm not mistaken he guides diver hunts. The action is fast and furious and is a great departure from field hunting.

One weekend when I was up north, there were these guys form Ottawa, they said they paid $4000 for a week of hunting waterfowl. I am not sure exactly where it was. I dunno

I don't know about any guides personally, but if you are looking for places to hunt and equipment is an issue, Valens Lake Conservation Area south of the 401 off Hwy 6 has blind hunting for a small fee (15 shell limit) on mornings during the waterfowl season. Rental boats are available for a small fee as well, meaning that it might be a practical place to hunt for someone without an extensive collection of hunting gear.

It's not exactly what you're looking for, but at least its an option close to home.

Regards,

Frank

I visited Valens last Friday, the lady at the entrance said that it is no more available for hunting.
Luther marsh is still an option though.

Does anyone know of guided hunts in the GTA south of 89, west of 6 and east of 400?
