Hey guys....here are the pics that I took this Saturday. Tried to do as many as I could but the rain prevented me from taking more...and of course it was smoking hot and sunny today at the open house
Thanks to Bob, Peter and the rest of the gang for putting on a great event. I know there are more guys out there who have been thinking of coming out. Punching paper by yourself at the range is lame! Bring that stick out to the next service rifle event and have some fun. The next one is May 30-31....lots of time to sight it in and find some ammo (186 rounds for the whole event with the team matches included)
Yours truly at the 200m berm (48/50 btw

)
I believe this is a 300m pic and I scored a 5. The chin is the V-bull (bulls-eye)

This will be the last match for the Colonel...could barely get up from prone but still did the 200-100 meter rundown! BTW hes 78 years old!!!!
Canadian Ranger CHEATING with a scope on an Enfield - was hoping for some competition on the irons
300m berm
When we got to the range I had all my gear in hand and I showed the Colonel the Garand I was shooting that day. He told me that he qualified expert with it back in the day and wanted to try it on for size to remember what it was like. Suits him eh.
My new favorate pic
Some of the riff raff after the shoot
Longshot (Mr.Consistant) winning

Never get tired of this place - 600 meter berm looking downrange
