Labradar or Magnetospeed??

On the LabRadar I had trouble picking up 22 caliber bullets. Was advised to up load the 1.1.3 version of the soft ware (free on line). I did, and it now works as advertised.
 
MS affected both group size and POI on my barrel when I tried my buddy's MS. Bottom is OCW test (100 yards). Top-left is groups fired with MS attached (100 yards), top-middle is no MS (300 yards), top-right is no MS (400 yards). All shot one after the other in that order.

Had as much vertical at 100 with the MS as I did at 300 and 400 without it. Was a 6mm Crusader with a 28" M24.

That solidified my decision to go with the LR, and I'm glad I did. It doesn't interfere at all with whatever you're trying to do. I've gathered velocity data while shooting at different distances to check my dope, alternating with another shooter set-up on the other side of it. Have even gathered velocity data while practicing on a barricade with the LR beside it on a tripod. Get all of my velocities now while doing my OCW tests. It's so easy with the LR.

In most cases I would rather have the LR. The only exception is checking velcity on the firing line at a match during zeroing. Everyone around you triggers your LR. Tried it once and got annoyed real fast. lol!
