I get half a dozen long range trips from one charge of the USB power bank. Don't use AA's

No AA's either. Belt and suspenders may be, but with 2 USB's this gives me fuel for long winter sessions in freezing cold. They're cheap on amazon.

maybe turn it down to 3. Also try doppler mode

I place the radar to be about where the end of the scope or forend of rifle is, not near the muzzle

Make sure it's aligned properly. These peep sights work well

At one of my ranges we shoot under a large overhead baffle. I've had similar failures there.

On the advice of the fine folks at Labradar, I keep the devise out of the muzzle blast by mounting it above, rather than beside, the muzzle. Also could be mounted below the front edge of the table on a tripod.

Mines been on and off...
I was thinking it didn’t like the cold (0 to -10 in the winter) as I was dropping most shots, some days nothing but frustration...
Mine has yet to pick up a 22 shot.
I found for alignment I just sit a straw in the v channel, it seems to work.
I’ll try the Doppler setting, it’s one I haven’t tried.
One thing for sure, when it works it’s awesome.
