thats why i used a TNVC on my last M14, gave me a good height..

but ive just ordered one of the Karsten adjustable risers.. kydex type.. awesome piece and amazing service. Ordered literally 5 working days ago from the US and it arrived here at work today.. and i chose the cheapest shipping option!

you can also check out Voodoo tactical product which comes with an actual cheek riser. That way you don't need to put stuff between the stock & the cheek riser.

And while the discussion is going "Desert Warrior" (or maybe dessert warrior) will not ship outside the states.

"Voodoo tactical" is out of stock of the one inch rise so that's off the option list; looks like they have a 1/4 inch rise available.

Screw'em. Lot of good information has shown up in this thread on options from Canada. Thanks to all who offered ideas.

if you are scoping your M14 then i would try the strap on risers from TNVC . they make one specifically for scoped M14s, has a hardfoam block that sits about 1" high

check them out

TNVC claims not to ship to Canada whered you find that?






Im super torn myself. The tac pro looks pretty good can anyone speak to the tac-pro vs other kydex options? Also worried about adding OZ Ill bet the kydex are probably a bit heavier.

What you could do because the strap/velcro designs are adjustable for height is cut non-absorbing foam pads and place them under the pouch so that it is sandwhiched between the stock and the pouch. Once you have found the perfect height if you want more rigidity in this modifaction is use shoe-goo to glue the foam or material you choose to the material of the pouch. Make sure it straps snuggly before glueing of course don't want to find out your tie downs are too short AFTER gluing the material in.

The coyoteM1a riser can be ordered in different heights as well, and is Canadian made by some fella out in BC.
