Lachmiller Engineering dies

I have a set of Lachmiller dies in 8 mm Mauser. Some research indicates that they are a quality die and Lachmiller Engineering was bought out by RCBS. Is anyone familiar with them? To me they appear to be chrome plated. If not they are still very shiny with a smoother finish than new dies.

I have a set of Lachmiller dies here in 250-3000 Savage that I bought many years ago from SIR Mailorder. They are chrome plated and I would rate the machining quality as excellent, they have worked very well for me. No issues to speak of.
