Lack of Supply of Ruger GP100 .357 Magnum

Not ever having had a double action Ruger revolver, when I was offered an older 4" for a reasonable price, I picked it up.

Not Bad. The single action trigger pull/let off isn't quite as good as a Smith but overall, it seems to be a pretty sturdy and decent handgun for the price.

And it's a good mate for an older Ruger SP101 in .22LR I've also just picked up .

You should look at the S&W 686P, P for plus, 7 rounds, the one I got, it's the Deluxe model, wood handle, I love it !!

I've been on Wolverine's waiting list for a SS 4.2" since February. Not holding my breath. I could have bought five or six (or more?) different used ones that came up on the EE since February, but I kind of want a new one.

Same problem here in the land Down Under. the importer simply can't get enough out of Ruger to satisfy demand.

I've gone on Wolverine's wait list as well. They told be they me they were hoping for the first part of 2013 but they don't know for sure. Can't go hunting with a handgun - might as well enjoy hunting for one.
