SO, again, went out to try some more ladder tests.
Today I used 7828 to do two identical tests as it has given the appearance of being somewhat compatible.You all have been following and know I've been using Retumbo, H1000 and 7828.
Again, for reference, Vanguard in 300WM , Benchmark barrel installed by Craige Douglas , VX Freedom 4-12x40. Exhaustive attempts were made to get 190 LRAB to shoot, no dice.
At last test I switched to 180gr Sierra Gamekings and 7828 was the better results.
Loading at 3.400" as it is the furthest out I can seat the projectile and have the case neck fully contacting the bullet.RP brass , 215 primers.
I have also had enough of my chronograph acting up.Velocities are listed.
The optics/mounting are fine, I tested this today also.
So here it is...




And on that note I think I'm retiring this rifle.No more testing this year for me, I'll try my luck maybe next season or make this item go away.
