Lake City Ammunition - No More Civilian Sales?

I 110% agree with you. Given what they already said about adding, what, 500 or so more makes/models to the OIC (likely likely based on what the Polys recently submitted to them in a pictorial hit list), almost all, if not all PCCs will get hit. That will heavily reduce retailers wanting to carry pistol ammo. I fully suspected they are targeting the supply chains and as you said, Biden already let the cat out of the bag. No surprise that some retailers are in short supply of 9mm, and I mean look at this - Tenda, who I usually use as the barometer to gauge ammo prices...look at this...Winchester white box of 50 124gr 9mm...take a guess how much it is? I had to do a double take. This was like, what, $15.99 - $17.99 a couple of years ago? It's Winchester white box...not some premium ammo...

I worry about this too. Awhile ago I was inquiring with a retailer about an ETA for some Score shotgun shells, they mentioned that they were having difficulty sourcing powders (I assume they had since got some in as the magnum slugs were eventually restocked). So even though we do have some of our own ammo manufacturers here in Canada (or even a couple hrs drive in my own province), targeting individual components could affect the critical path.

Also, I’ve been getting some of the PMC .223 / 5.56 too. I haven’t had enough time to compare them all, but they certainly are nicer looking than say the federal or Winchester. I also like how some have the sealed primer and case necks

Like one of my local shops says...... want to stock up on reloading components? Shoulda done that 2 years ago
Wanna stock up on ammo..... shoulda started that a year ago

He is spot on.

I have many shooter friends in the USA..... Texas and Arizona primarily. My friend in texas is a retired US marine and recently retired gunsmith. He is telling me that "lefty" corporations are buying up assets that are directly involved in or are suppliers to the ammunition manufacturing process. Closing the businesses down or creating supply chain issues on purpose in the ongoing effort to disrupt americans 2A rights. I have no articles to support his claims but it's not to hard to believe.

Guess where the cellulose for making nitrocellulose comes from? Paper mills. Guess what keeps shutting down permanently in North America? Paper mills.

'suita - I've been using the PMC in .223 for a few years in my bolt Ruger American. Pretty accurate and 'low-cost' -ca. $15- / box. And Made in USA. http s://pmcammo.com/about/
BTW, I've got loads of MFS 62g SP that was most accurate except for 'Match' ammo - it's made in Hungary and also very 'low-cost'.
