Budget has some listed. I was hoping the might perform out of my savage bolt gun at the range. I get great accuracy from the name brands but thought these may be a cheaper alternative.

I just noticed the cannelure, do all zmax bullets have one? If so, looks like they might not be vmax's after all!

Damn I bought 1000 of them. Havent loaded any yet but they are definitely longer than my Hornady 55 gr FMJBT which actually shoot pretty good. But I geuss for 16 cents each shipped theyre not the worst deal around. FWIW the 6000 cases of Hornady 55 gr FMJBT work out to about 9.5 cents each going off Hornady's USA site. I might go that route.
Lol biged, as far as I know, zmax bullets are just vmax bullets with a different color tip, if so, they are a great bargain for vmax bullets!!

Problem there, is a) you cant buy them out of the US, and (B) you're going to have a hell of a time trying to find them right now with the schenanigans down in the US. If you do find them, let me know!!!
Mac
the Lake Citys were decent for blasting and short range use when they were $100.00 per K shipped at $140.00 shipped they are not worth it. They are rejects I am just finishing a 10,000 rd run, it is amazing how badly formed the boattails are on a lot of bullets. I am switching to Privi or Hornady.
