lake field 22 semi auto

well today my dad and i whent to gangons to pick up a 22 and a shot gun

he picked out a used lake field semi with mosberg markings i know nothing about this fire arm and am looking for cleaning and mainanance information

it has a skop with one peice mount and a plastic piece near the turrets

the stock is the model with the pull down though i don't really quite see the point in it

Do a search on Savage firearm's. They make that type of .22 now and I believe have online manual's.

The model number will be stamped on the barrel as well. It may turn out to be a diamond in the rough.

yeah we had discussed a bolt action savage i wasn't pleased when he waisted the research i had done into the savages oh well getting a 308 soon that i am picking out

any ways does any one know if 99$ is a good price for one of these rifles
