I've got a Lakefield 64 that works good, but has a very heavy trigger pull. Anyone have a link to some info on how to decrease the pull. That would make it a much more enjoyable gun to shoot.
Thanks

The trigger group on a 64 is inside a pressed metal housing...not fun to play with...

I can suggest firing a million or so shots, it will wear down in time. You can also (albeit very very very cautiously)try adding some fine shims between receiver and trigger group. This is not a great way (and not recommended) to go about it though...it can turn your long gun into something prohibited with only a few thousandths of an inch. When that happens, the sear will get beat up/worn very quickly! I don't normally recommend dry firing rimfires, but try it empty when fiddling with trigger group/receiver spacing. Too far away, and the sear won't engage the hammer ( a very illegal, and dangerous condition can occur). By trying it empty, you can assure the hammer is retained by the sear.

I adore my 64's, but will not defend the trigger pull! Tough on most, hideous on the rest.
