New to the site. I finally, after having my pal for almost a year went and purchased my new gun from my local guns store. A older but mint lakefield arms 22LR semi auto. Didn't plan on purchasing a gun yet but it was a great deal. I was more than happy with the price of the gun and couldn't say no. So as excited as I was I get home go to rip of the price tag off the trigger lock and it shattered into 5 pieces in my living room. I was upset. But shocked at the cheap(for lack of better words) plastic. I thought it would have been cast and didn't think twice before just pulling it off. Anyways I'm paying for that decision. Only problem I'm having an issue finding a new one online. I would like an upgrade if possible to SS possibly. I haven't gone to my local gun store yet cause they are closed all weekend. Anyone know if an online place to safety buy trigger guard for my semi auto lakefield arms 22lr? Or can help me out in figuring what to do next to get my gun back to mint condition? I have thought about making my own cause I am a welder/fabricator. I would probably rather spend a few bucks on a piece properly fabricated for the gun already.
