Lakefield MKII firing pin question

Just wondering if a savage MKII firing pin will fit in an old lakefield

Older Savage MkII firing pin should be able to be fitted. The newer accu-trigger models I doubt (but don't know for certain).

IIRC, the Lakefield repeater rifles had 2 styles of firing pins.

Western Gun Parts and just get the right one. There's a good chance they have it.
