Hey everyone,
I have an old Lakefield-Mossberg 400 12ga pump that I'm having issues with. It seems to cycle shells fine when not firing, it also chambers and fires the first shot no problem. The issue is after the first shot, the shell lifter doesn't lift the second shell far/fast enough, and the shell jams on the front of the receiver just at the bottom of the chamber.
I took it to a gunsmith who pulled it all apart, and claimed to replace some parts. I took it home and it seemed to cycle alright, but after about 100 rounds it started jamming again. I clean it thoroughly every time I fire it. I also keep all the pertinent parts properly oiled.
Anyone have any ideas or solutions? I don't particularly want to take it back to the gunsmith (at least not the same one).
