Lakefield/Mossberg Mark II Firing Pin Issue?

I am having a no-fire issue with my Mk II. It loads and the bolts drops on the bullet, but the firing pin doesn't stike the rim with enough force to fire it. Can you take the bolt apart to check it? Has anyone had this issue before? Is there a firing pin problem?
Any help would be appreciated.

I have had it many times. The pin just gets built up with crud a good cleaning fixes it.

My Mark II had the no-fire issue and it was a broken firing pin. It marked the casing lip but not enough to fire it. The bolt is under pressure so I would suggest taking to a gunsmith for repair.
