Laminate stock for my build needs a facelift

You have a good nine months to make sawdust out of that stock before your stock will arrive from SSS.....ask me how I know :D

Fit and finish of the SSS is second to none....ready to finish bolt up and shoot but the wait is painful. I forgot I ordered one months before it arrived in the mail. I am waiting for one more parcel and then I will post pictures of everything just to poke Rishu Pepper in the side one more time before the year is over

I'm thinking of getting SSS HBR stock.....looks nice.....and finished....cause I think Richardson's stock deserves someone with more skills and equipment than me

I wonder if I can sell it in a week....hmmmm...or else return for refund

I have a Richards stock arriving in around two or three weeks. Anyone have a favorite palm sander? Will I need to get a decent set of chisels? Any other tips?

Rob

Take your time. Wood is easy to remove, but much, much more difficult to put back. I know this know as I have ruined a couple nice pieces of wood trying to build an acoustic guitar. The old carpenter adage proves invaluable. Measure twice, cut once. Have fun and take your time.
