Hi, a while back I saw a black and white, laminate, thumbhole stock for a 10/22 that looked great. I have been trying in 2 countries to find a dealer or someone who can make one for my 597. I tried most of the "usual suspects" online but so far, all I get is...close. Anyone got any ideas ? ( please do not say..."make it yourself."..my woodworking skills have deteriorated a touch since junior high...lol.)

Boyds has one for the rem 597. If its under $500 and not the tacticool you can order it form boyds.
Stockys Stocks?
Boyds make a laminate colour called "Bone Grey" which looks to me the only one of theirs that would fit your black & white description.
If i was going to get a new 597 stock, I check out the Rhineland one.

Thanks guys...but Boyd's, Stocky's and "bone / grey" have already been rejected as "close"...but not quite. This one was on the Cabelas Canada site. The stock was visually striking to look at....the black and white combo just popped out. I'll keep trying. ( btw, will a US site ship a Stock here with no problems ? )
Yeah..I can't find it. Pretty sure it was in the online page for 10 / 22's. Looking to see if I can get a hobbyist to make one, instead..but it would be a lot more expensive, right ? ( if I can find a Glock 20 and 10 mm ammo in Canada, I can find this...lol )
