Laminate stocks

boyds for both, unless you want something other then a sporter stock, in which case richards micro fit would be the better choice

I only said not sure about the Stevens, because I'm not so sure Boyd's has them for that model. Otherwise I think it's pretty hard to beat Boyd's value.

My Boyd's stock is well made but I don't like the thumb hole stock. For the price it is the best option for replacing plastic. I think I might try a non thumb hole stock from them soon.

PM me if interested in a laminated short action 700 mountain rifle stock.

I signed up for Boyd's email notifications.
Makes me smile at all the stuff he offers.
I was going to buy a stock for my CZ 452
and he didn't offer a stock for the sporter barrel.
Varmit only.
I called and chatted with them and they said more
demand for the fat barrel stock.
I was asked to fill in their request form as this seems
to have a bearing on what they will decide on in the
future stock making.
Sooooooo, giddee up go........ :D

Another vote for Boyds, I do like there featherweight Thumbhole stock but I put a Prairie Hunter on a Savage 11 and I really like it as well, I put their Classic on a Ruger and didn't like it as much, I have bought about 6 or 7 of them now and they have all been excellent. Good instructions on their sites about which stock will fit your Stevens,
make sure you order the front action bolt as well if you are replacing a synthetic stock on a Savage or a Stevens
