I need a stock for a tang safety Ruger, both Richards microfit and boyds have one listed but which one is going to take heavy recoil better and what is the best way to get my hands on one?

I put a Boyds on my 375 CT with a Decelerator. I like it. Easy to shoot, but the factory forend need to be shorter. I cut mine too 9.5"

.

I have used richards often, great stuff, like this one

Thats pretty much what I have in mind, I'm probably not keeping the rifle so I don't want to spend much but the walnut stock that is on it has a crack in it. I figure it will be easier to sell with a new stock than selling as a barreled action.

You be better off just selling the barreled action as is. You won't be able to recoup the extra cost of the new stock.
