Lapua 223Rem new brass

And if Peter doesn't have any empty ones, you can always buy them by the 50 count box ready to go with 69gr Scenars for around $120 for 50. Once you shoot them, you will end up with 50 fireformed, absolutely free, once fired Lapua .223 cases nearly ready to reload. Depending on how much you shoot, buy 4 or 5 boxes.

Holy cow their 6.5x55 is cheaper than their .223?

Guess they must make a lot more of it?

Or probably sell a lot less. Demand is extreme for .223. Don't know of any ARs that run 6.5x55. That 6.5x55 ammo probably has to have the dust vacuumed off just to find it on the shelf.
If that were the case, would 223 costing more than 6.5x55 not be a universal phenomenon?

Or is "charge more for what we sell lots more of" something particular to Lapua?

My guess would be the 6.5x55 has been on the shelf for a couple years, vs the 223 that's harder to keep in stock. The price you're seeing for the 6.5x55 might be a few years old.
