Lapua 308 brass...WOW

Just received 200 Lapua 308 brass today.

WOW!
Almost don't want to load em, just exquisite.

Very impressive. Makes the Win/Rem brass look like dog s**t.
And they came in their own Lapua case, so no dented necks like the Win/Rem that come in the bags.

Hell yeah, just want to test some out and see how they hold up.
Have 600 additional Win brass set to retire over the next few months, so these are the first 200 replacements.

Really curious to see if they make any difference for performance apart from durability, guess we'll find out soon enough

Felt the same way but I ended up I neck turning brand new box 6mmBR brass a few weeks ago. Oh did I mention my experience in neck turning was 4 practice cases cases before I moved onto the Lapua.

Lapua brass = Awesome

I don't own a 308 but picked up 40 Lapua 308 brass off the ground at the range last fall. Appears someone put them through and auto. Looks like nice stuff.

I re-sized some to 7mm-08, the quality and consistency is very impressive.Almost feel like throwing out all my Remington brass.

Hee. I just bought 500 of these cases plus 1200 Berger 155.5 gr projectiles, so at least I'll know it's my fault if I don't hit the V-bull with regularity this summer. I figure you should buy as many points as you can (Nightforce scope, good brass, etc) before you have to start actually, y'know, developing any skill.
