Lapua 6.5 144 gr

Winning on the Wind just put out a vid on why he didn't go with the 144, interesting reasoning for it. He said he may look at it down the road, but, it didn't offer him anything better than he already has.

That’s entirely possible 🤷‍♂️ might be better then the SMKs 142 or worst might be better then the HELDM 140 -147 too or Not .
Gotta shoot them in your gun to know 👍 But prob not any better then the Berger 144 sbut it’s all about what shoots WELL-BEST from your own rifle 👍😊

His reasoning didn't make any sense. If he ran the 144 hybrid at the same pressure as the 140 hybrid, he would find the wind drift is less with the 144.

Would you prefer ownership by Hornady, Speer, Sierra or Barnes(Sierra owned)?
Hornady is the big monster and they are trying to match Berger and would not be doing so if Berger was not so dominant in competition, which is what drives manufacturers to improve.

Sierra(owned by?) always made fine bullets and are upping their game as well.

Lapua's ownership has helped Berger become the powerhouse that thy are. Lapua is also spending many millions to increase and update production and hopefully have more high BC bullets. They now have some improved BC hunting bullets as well.

Regarding cost, Lapua deals in EUROs, and the EUR-CAD exchange rate is at its highest in 10+ years.

Regards,
Peter

Just got my order from you yesterday.. Thanks for fast shipping.. Did a preliminary weight analysis on a few randomly selected using a very expensive scale that lets me read out to the 4th decimal.
