Just a quick question for those that shoot 105 bergers

In my quest to find some lapua brass I came across the lapua ammo loaded with 105gr Scenar, the 50rnd box is roughly $150 so $3/round which is roughly my cost (actually cheaper than my virgin brass loads).

Was considering buying some to try out since it’s roughly the same price as I can load it for and I get brass I was chasing.

So my question is for the guys shooting the 105 bergers, if you’ve shot the factory lapua ammo how did it perform compared to the bergers?

I’m currently shooting with great results 30.0gr varget under 105 bergers using CCI 450’s with 0.020” jump for reference.

Little eye candy to liven up the thread and show my first full custom build.

I personally haven't shot any, but a friend a few years ago was shooting some in a match .
That stuff was VERY accurate.
I was told that many of the European 300 meter shooters don't even hand load anymore because that stuff is that accurate.
I would not hesitate to grab some if the opportunity arose and I was still shooting a 6mmBR

I got the same load as you and I'm using it for 105(berger and lapua),107(Sierra),108(berger) and 109(berger and hornady) and always same results haha. Your start to see a difference after 400y because of the BC. Other than that it's one tiny hole with the exact same load.

I bought the Lapua loaded round for the brass, it will come out cheaper and practical instead of getting just the brass,
Was not disappointed, the Lapua 105 Scenar groups .13 moa, haven’t duplicated this yet with my load and I’ve tried Bergers 105, 108, Smk 107, powders used 30 grs of Varget and 29.7 N150, BR4 or CCI 450, no difference on performance, all loads perform almost identical at 300 yards .25 moa, N150 and 108 Berger is my best combo, although the Lapua factory was still the best performer
