Lapua Ballistics

For those using Lapua bullets, go to www.lapua.com and scroll to Lapua Ballistics and take it from there. You'll have to create password and username.

Available at no charge is the most advanced ballistic data offered by any manufacturer. Superior, as it utilizes Dopplar Radar data compiled by assistance($10,000 USD per day) from the Finnish Defence Forces. Radar data uses drag coefficeients, not 1890's B.C. concept. Military units spend many tens of thousands to obtain this info.

Once you register you have to copy the whole link from the confirmation email. For some reason it only links to part of it. Once you do that it should be fine.

Ok here is what happened with mine, and how I fixed it.

When I got the confirmation email I clicked the link and got the same problem you had. So I looked at the link again and I saw that only part of the link is highlighted. So I manually copied the whole link, and pasted that into a new browser window, after that I had no more problems.

I have attached a screenshot of what I mean, you must copy up to the arrow. If this doesn't help you then you might have to contact Lapua on it.

I now get a login failure............

Max I had some issues the first 24 hours after registering, could not log in, could log in went to the same page over and over.

Left it alone and tried the next day, worked like a charm.

Max and others, this is from Finland:

The problems I have encountered with the ballistic site is that people usually do not confirm their registration when they receive the corresponding email. Without confirming they cannot access the site.

In any specific problems, though, I have the possibility to open an account and make it work, providing that I know the username and email of the account holder.
