Lapua brass 6.5 creedmoor

Got my order confirmation today, so this stuff must exist. Looking forward to getting my hands on it.

With the small primer hole whats everyone's plans for trimming the brass. I currently have a Lee Case Length gauge but it won't fit.

Thanks Prophet River

Interesting, I never thought about that. I always use the Lee trimmer too. Maybe the pin can be modified with some emery cloth

Ya I have modified my RCBS decapping pin that way and my micrometer tells me it should work. But a decapping pin isn't as exact as a trimmer.

I have also purchased a couple spare Lee trimmers so I can try and modify them too. I'm concerned it might compromise the precise trimming ability though. Just wondering if there was anything else out there, that didn't require modification.

You could always open up the flash holes. Just sayin . . .

got my two boxes squared away today. been having bad luck with hornady brass. necks cracking on the second fireing with light loads

??????Curious, on my 4th load with my 6.5 Creedmoor brass and I load pretty stout 2720fps.No problems, minimal case stretching, shot in RPR GenI. I bought some Hornady 308 Match brass from a chap here, not so impressive.
