I have a line on a box of 100 pieces of Lapua brass in .308 from the UK for 57 pounds, shipping isn't an issue as a family member would be bringing it to me on their next visit to Canada. Is this a fair price? It works out to about 88 bucks after the exchange rate.

I was just on the Hirsch Precision website and they have Lapua 308 brass showing as 77.00 per 100,the UK stuff doesn't look like such a good deal except that you don't have to factor in shipping and HST on the Canadian sale.That adds up pretty fast.
 
"...after the exchange rate..." You'll very likely be paying duty as well. Your family member may get some interest from Her Majesty's Customs too. There may be a Brit export permit.
