Lapua Bullets

They're reputed to be one of the best bullets you can find. I can't attest to them personally as I've yet to develop any loads using Lapua bullets.

Hirsch Precision is the Canadian importer for Lapua products, great people to deal with. I have also found some at Dante Sports in Montreal.

I have used a few of them, 250gr in the .338 Lapua, 155gr in the .308 Win and 139gr in the .260 AI and all have shot very well. I am beginning to play with Bergers and have used SMKs and Amaxs with great success in various rifles aswell. Just depends on what your rifle likes but most seem to like Lapua Scenars.
Peter Dobson at Hirsch Precision is a dealer here and carries all of the Lapua stuff and is a great guy to boot.

Lapua products are used by many of Canada's top shooters, including Alain Marion, Jim Paton, Leo D'Amour and this years F(O) winner. CISM and Canadian snipers use Lapua mmo.

Are these any better than the rest for Quality, B.C., Accuracy etc...

Pete, Lapua bullets are one of the top-tier commercial match bullets. Their quality and accuracy is fully the equal of the other top tier bullets. They are fairly aggressively designed, so their BCs are usually at the upper end of the bullets in their class. For .308/155 use, the current topnotch bullets are the Sierra #2156, the Berger 155.5 Fullbore, the Lapua 155 etc.

Are you looking for a .308/155 bullet, or something else? The Lapua 155 is quite a thoroughbred bullet. You get very high performance (BC) and very good accuracy, but it can be a "fussy" bullet to get working well. It is particularly well suited to longer throated chambers (e.g. many factory chambers), and it is a bit of a misfit in particularly short "Palma" chambers (e.g it would be more convenient if my .308 Obermayer chamber was throated about .150" deeper)

I get my Lapua bullets from Peter Dobson at Hirsch Precision.
