WOW that Amazing, $7500 brass and the guy throw in a rifles, 20mark, how many brass is that + a rifles, did you do the math or the guy just told you that it worth that much, What Action, Barrel is on? Kind of nice talk on NET, let see some picture any proof?.
I bet you the Guy that shoot the 3" at 1000 yard consistent.
Did you get one of these for $7500 and they throw in couple round of Brass, how many?
Because for that much this would be the only thing I would get.

Isn't there a rule about trolling? GunBoy, you are a troll, par excellence! We're talking about the 338...Lapua or RUM. Some guys assert that the Lapua is the better big 338 because you have better brass available. You are asserting that there is brass that is better bang for the buck yet you make no claim that you have used Lapua brass. Your opinion in this matter is worthless. Worse still, you seem to equate anything named "Lapua" with Alberta Tactical Rifle Supply and Rick Timmins, both of whom you hate for unknown reasons (and no one gives a sh*t so don't bother enlightening us). If you haven't got anything to offer in the current discourse (that's a fancy word meaning the discussion regarding the 338 RUM vs 338 Lapua) then do the rest of us a favour and just lurk. You might learn a thing or two and save the rest fo the precision rifle forum having to wade through your drivel.
Every one have an Opinion, and there is no need to get upset, As a matter of facts, I do have several 100 338lapua brass, Just stating that if a guy wanted to shoot 338 Caliber, there is Other choice beside going Lapua, That All. Where did you get this that I hate Lapua and ATR?

I did have a fun shooting 1 gallon milk jugs tonight. Was using the illuminated reticle as it began to turn dark. 700 yards is the max. distance for the spot I was using. Quite frankly, at that distance, it is not a difficult shot. At least a guy can tell when he scores a direct hit. One shot hit low and covered a jug with dirt. Fun stuff.
Maybe tomorrow I will use 1 litre coke bottles or beer cans.
Sorry no pics. I am not one who spends his life taking pictures to please people I do not know.

338 Lapua Improved with Lapua brass.
I have a pair of Rifles in chambered in 338Edge and (as others have mentioned) when you consider the cost of a fully toyed and accessorized 338 Tactical rifle the extra quality of the Lapua brass makes some sense....Indeed that is exactly what I would do if I ever re-build my big 338 Tac rifle.
My other rifle is a 8.5 pound hunter.
Given reasonable weight/size constraints (Lapua actions are bigger and heavier) the Remington action allows me more significant barrel mass.
Given and accuracy limitations imposed by the hunting platform I still believe I made the correct decision on this rifle...I would do it again.
Lapua brass rocks, (If Lapua makes it I use it), but after 8-10 firings its just dumpster bait to me.
While I acknowledge it can be done why anyone would fire any casing 20 times in a $8,000.00 rifle is beyond me?
No disrespect to those that chose to do so.

I do have several hundred round of 338lapua, did had a rem700MLR, but sold it, because I din't like it, but I am getting another 338lapua, the Timberwolf would be one of my choice, SAkO is another, I also had the option of building it(Do it myself), Not sure what action to go with, And I am just expressing my own Opinion, there no need to get upset.

Why not use them until they show signs of being worn out?
I have 26 reloadings on my 338 Lapua Improved casings and still have yet to trim, have no loose primer pockets and no signs of case failure. I have had to bump the shoulders a few times though.
I guess my terminal cheapness is working for me. When I drink beer, I drink the whole bottle, not just 1/2 and toss the rest away (unless my dog gets at it).
My rationale is that as long as the brass is still in good shape, shoot it until it shows signs of not being in good shape.

I am totally with Rick... I only recently tossed a piece of Lapua 6BR brass with a split neck that honestly had between 20 and 30 firings. It was the first and only piece of lapua brass I have EVER tossed because of any sort of failure. ALL of my brass has tight primer pockets, and only needs intermittent bumping and the occasional trim
We're talking a cartridge load with a 65,000+ psi. That is 20,000 psi higher than a 338 Lapua Magnum
I recently bought 300 pieces of brass for my 6.5-284 and started to weight-sort. I gave up after 75 cases because they were all so damned close.
Lapua actually drives the bus in terms of the calibers used in precision long range shooting. If that company ever got into making Winchester or Remington magnum Brass, the paradigms in F-Class would shift once again.
It sticks in my craw when I buy bulk Remington brass for my varmint rifles and I need to need to run it through a die because the necks are crimped. Working with quality components is time-efficient, and represents one less variable when trying to achieve excellence.

338 lapua is better in the real world... i belive the brass has a big part of that... those who say lapua is the same as WIN or Norma go buy a box of each and messure em... u will have to measure twice the lapua brass to get half the deviation of other makes......

How do you figure the .338 Lapua is a 45,000 psi cartridge? It's also over 60,000 psi.
$7500 is about the same level as TImberwolf 338, price gone down to $6700.
You din't really answer the question of what barrel, Action you got for that price?
20 reload of 100 round on a rifle 338lapua caliber would be around 2000 round though the rifle, Assuming you got 100round of 338Lapua brass, But I am sure you wanted every one to think you got more, while most other got around 1500 round and barrel need to be change, So the question is are you just BS or Embarrass about the Rifle you purchase? What did you got for $7500, If it was my choice For that much money, I get the Timberwolf 338 or Sako TRG42 with scope.
No body say Lapua brass in No good, these Genius here manage to turn it into a Fight from Nothing.
