Ok Rick, So if you wanted to talk about 338lapua, 20 reload on a 100brass is 2000 round, it that on 1 rifles, while 1500 is time to change barrel, I am still waiting for some proof that this guy purchase a rifle for $7500 including brass, what action and barrel?
 
Oh for goodness sake, give it up Gunboy.
I think we're all in agreement that Lapua (I still read La-poo-ah lol) makes damn nice brass and can be reloaded multiple times, in some cases (pun intended :D), up to 30 times.
 
OK, OK, I give it up, Lapua is the best brass you can Buy or get it from ARMY buddy once fire, I do agree, I got 800 338lapua once fire, got it several year ago for $50/100, that alot better price than some smart guy paying over $200 per 100.

Guboy READ the original post, you know the very 1st 1 in this thread, at the beginning where the original poster says "I was looking at the ballistics of the 338 lapua and 338 Rem. Ultra mag and they seem to be fairly similar. Does the Lapua have an edge on accuracy or would one be as good as the other for a long range rifle?"

I own 1 338 LAI rifle, so far I have reloaded the original 100 casings 25 times, so that would make after fireforming 2500 rounds going through the barrel.
Just 1 barrel and it still shoots very accurately. I do know know which twit told you that you could only get 1500 rounds out of a barrel.

I am at a loss as to what proof of anything you are asking of me. I do not understand your babble about " I am still waiting for some proof that this guy purchase a rifle for $7500 including brass, what action and barrel?"

I thought you were " out of here" What happened?
 
I am the one asking $7500 for the rifle with a scope. I am sure you are capable of reading the ad. All the info is in there.

Not BS or EMBARASS about rifle. Don't shoot the rifle enough to enjoy it to the fullest. Not a big fan of sitting at a reloading bench either. In 3 years I have not yet put 300 rounds down the tube. Someone else can surely do better.

I will type slow and use small words so you savvy what is going on. A few pages back, toomanyguns posted:

Knowing that he is also trying to sell a very well equiped rifle, and that this brass, along with other stuff, is part of his package deal, I made the comment:
"Does all that $7500.00 brass come with a free rifle?"
imparting the ages old joke about buying the wrong thing for too much money, and getting the right thing for free. This was obviously way beyond your comprehension level, again. So, like a blabbering idiot, you say:

which to be totaly honest, I really don't understand what you are attempting to say. I know you speak perfect English, yet you choose to type and communicate here no better than a busted toilet seat. So I hope this helps you out a bit. I did not purchase brass for $7500.00 and get a free rifle. It was a joke. A joke everyone got, except you. Also, you expose yourself as an inexperienced loader, and shooter, if you believe the things you type. To claim that a .338 Lapua will only get 1500 rounds out it, shows your ignorance. I can assure you of several things. I am not BS'ing, and I have never purchased a rifle I would be embarassed about. I do not comment on things I know nothing about, I don't lie, and when I do offer information, it is based on fact, not opinion. When I do offer an opinion, it's fairly obvious to most. Savvy now?

"I do not understand your babble about" You Understand perfectly what I am asking about the pass weekend, how did you do on the Rifle match at Genesee, did you used Lapua brass?

from Guy I talk to AT genesee 1500round is norm for 338lapua (guy that actually shoot 338lapua), and you getting 2500 out of a 338LAI with are faster than 338Lapua, I suppost that was on the rifle that you build, and I am sure this Rifle can do 1076yard achieving 3" consistantly. of course Comparing to you I have No experience in reloading or shooting, I agree you are way better!

WTF does this have to do with a match with PAST weekend, and whether or not he used (you should have typed "use" but you know that already) Lapua brass?

I switched from the 338 rum to the 338 lapua, the reason being is remington brass is very inconsistent. For hunting level accuracy the 338rum is great and if you handload its not that expensive to shoot. I rebarreled my rem 700 to 338 lapua. I wont be switching back.

Sorry , Din't mean to ruffle ATRS sTaff, but I bet the guy who won the match this Sunday din't used Lapua brass.
