LAR 10 or ATRS AT15 223/5.56 10 round pistol mag ?

I have only AT15 pistol mags and Beowulf .50 mags. Sold all my Lars off. Lars are now obsolete. The AT15's work flawless unmodified in my Norc M4 14.5

Think of glock mags, they have some very large capacity mags all pinned to 10 rounds. So pistol mags dont have to be in a ten round body.
As stated already, pistol is ten rounds, rifle is five, body doesnt matter.

Are you saying these are pinned or internally blocked?

It's my understanding (as stated above in post 17), that there is no "blocking" device and that they were designed in that manner.
 
Is there anywhere online to buy the at15 mags? I only see the manufacturer and they don't appear to have a shopping cart.

Except the Glock mags started out as high capacity PISTOL mags that are pinned to 10 rounds for our market. According to the RCMP the mag bodies do matter.
 
They use an extended follower to limit the capacity. So there is no pin. But it is limited. Then the unit is ultra sonically welded so the follower can not be tampered with.

If you have a Pmag, use it to compare the "slot" where they lock up. I had to shave some of the side of the slot, just keep taking small amounts until they lock up. IIRC for my STAG lower it wasn't the length of the slot,just the height.
 
Loving my AT's but thinking the feed lips are a little softer then I like. Oh well.....if I get to shoot them enough to wear them out soon , I'll be a happy camper :)

Mine work well in my DD but some guys have had to trim where the bolt feeds the next round. I see no marks there with my DD so I'll leave as is for strength.
 
How in gods name did I not hear about the ATRS 10 round mags...sold out now of course.
Can't wait to get my hands on some.
 
I've also got a Norinco 10.5 using the LAR-15 pistol mags, I did put in the Magpul followers before using them so unsure how they are "stock". I have 8 and have run them all several times with zero issues. I think the biggest benefit to them is using the available couplers, 10-shots, eject, flip, 10-shots is pretty nice I have to say. I have to give a "vote" for the LAR-15.
