LAR-15 Mag couplers

These magazine couplers just piss me off more about our ridiculous gun laws... For the size of two ten rounders I could have one thirty rounder. We even had to exploit a loophole to be allowed to use ten rounders... Lame...

Plastic

Plastic wouldn't be strong enough to handle any torque. The edge is too thin! It is currently made from high strength aircraft aluminum. Don't forget a plastic mold will run you up to $3000 without you knowing if your product will sell or not.

Make it out of plastic and sell it for a buck.

They will never sell at that price. That's more than a PMAG costs!!

Hey guys, don't forget a very important point. I have a drop leg mag pouch that holds four block 30rd mags. If I where to use my P.P. Couplers, I will have a legal 80 rounds!!! For those who use a tactical vest that holds twelve block 30rds mags, six on each side, you'll have a total of 240 rounds, think about it......think about it!!! This would sure surpass any faults of the P.P. Couplers.

Good Canuck design !

Just bought 4 of em !
Quality allways costs -

In a match a 40 rounder on the gun makes the cost dissappear -:dancingbanana:

Holy Crap Thomas...I still remember trying to get yours and Terry's Kitty Kats working...has it been that long. The saga probably should have started earlier but as I recall your guns were held by the RCMP for a very long time...ah the good old days of waiting to pick up restricted guns from the PoPo...

Need a cap for monopodding

I bought 2 of the couplers. I would also buy a protective cap (kind of like the ones that protect the lips of Magpul Pmags) so I could shoot prone resting on the mag.

I knew someone would eventually make these. As soon as I first saw the LAR-15 mags, I had the idea as well. But I wouldn't be able to design something like this ;)

IMO $50 is way too much, but I can understand because these are new. I hope these go down in price eventually, then I look forward to trying them out.
