LAR-15 Magazine

I have an Armalite M-15 rifle that takes LAR-15 magazines. I know that semi automatic rifles are limited to 5 rounds. Am I able to use 10 rounds though due to the loophole in RCMP special bulletin 72?

You can use your lar15 mags in your rifle legally. It’s not a loophole. The law pertains to the magazine itself, not the firearm it is eventually used in. So if it’s legally a pistol mag, it can hold 10 rounds, regardless of what firearm it fits and functions in.

Classic examples are pistol caliber carbines, most of which are non-restricted and can ONLY take 10 round pistol mags legally.
