LAR-15 mags and couplers

I received my new mags and couplers today, big thanks for a great product and in a timely fashion.

Question..why is the magazine angled in a weird way...why cant it be like the other LAR15 magazines
or is it the couplers?

The new mags have an angled bottom whereas the old grey ones have a flat bottom.
that's a crazy angle to have....

Yes the crazy angle is because the mags are angled and pair that with the coupler and that's what you get

I saw a pic somewhere with two angled mags Coupled and they looked find.
Take the coupler and switch the position the opposite way

That looks bad. I won't be buying these lar mags if they have that angle.
I noticed the crazy angle on the stock picture and figured it was a picture of the 7.62x39 version, zooming in on your photo it clearly says .223/5.56 pretty unfortunate. The idea of the coupler is to mimic the size and shape of the standard 30 rounders. Damn.

Thanks for posting the pics that looks better but not the look I like. I'll be looking for flat bottomed mags for sure. Or just not coupling them if I end up with these ones.

Can you post a picture of a standard 5/30 round mag next to it? That would be awesome.

They have it for sale now on Canadaammo for $24 each I think.
The metal couplers are $10 each.

I wonder what is the difference between these lar15 and the other grey ones...
Why are these so slainted?..

Got a question about the installation of the couplers.
Do you take off the magazines base plate off and replace it with the coupler?
Or does the base plate stay?
