LAR mags, get em while you can!!

I was just in at Rusty Woods Trading Company (he is a dealer here on CGN) in Mission, BC he tells me he just recieved a 100 pack of RRA LAR-15 10 round pistol mags.

This can't be accurate, they have crappy followers, rough feed lips, and often need the front filed or rounds won't come out of the mag

They are much better after some smoothing and magpul follower installation, but far from pmag quality

This is correct. The feed lips on my LAR mags are so rough, the followers aren't nice either, however mine feed perfectly every time. For the price of the LAR mags just to make them a little more feasible(i.e. magpul followers, ranger plates, or the piece to connect two mags together) it just doesn't make sense in my books to dump a ton of money into a stock pile of them. Especially when they are more money per magazine than the last batch of new M2 PMAGs, D&H steel mags w/magpul followers, and the MSAR magazines I already own which all perform exceptionally.

Still lots out there. I split a 10 pack from CanadaAmmo with some buddies.
