I checked a few site sponsors and nobody has these in stock. Does anyone know who has them in? I don't want to pay $50 each at Milarm again.

A couple people PM'd me when I asked this same question a couple weeks ago.

There should be some people who will sell to you, probably around 35 a piece.

I looked around at the suggested dealers and could find none who had any in stock. Anyone have a line on a dealer with these mags in stock?

There was some lucky sap that snagged 10 new LAR-15's for $300 tax-in the other week from the EE...

.... wait.. That was me:D

Keep your eyes open and be ready to pull the trigger when they show up

Get them where ever you see them, with the demise of C-Product it is going to take sometime before a new manfacturer can be found to take up the production of LAR-15 mags.

Are RRA magazines made by C-Products?

No... LAR-15 AR Pistol magazines were made for Questar by CProducts. Rock River Arms was not part of that process.

Those were the magazines we submitted to the RCMP and that they issued a written classification ruling (by RCMP - Firearms Analysis Section) confirming they were legal 10 round pistol magazines.

Without a written classification the legality of an AR Pistol magazine is open to question.

We have approval to have the LAR-15 Pistol magazines produced by a new manufacturer (to the same design and specifications)... just waiting for production to ramp up now.

It is not as simple as taking existing "rifle" magazines and engraving "pistol" on the side... RCMP classify that as a "Rifle" magazine regardless of what the engraving says and they limit the capacity to 5 rounds.

Oh, Ok. I just saw that it said RRA on the LAR-15 Mags on some different sites, including yours, and assumed they were Rock River Arms. My Bad. Thanks for the clearing that up!!! What does the RRA stand for?

The name of the gun that they were design and manufactured for.

Is there actually any plan to have a coupler that extends the magazine itself to a normal 30 rounder shape? I know the coupler currently attaches two, however, like some folks, I don't like "banana clipping"

Will the new production mags be identical to the old ones, or will they be visually different?

Reason I ask is I have several LAR mags already and for ease and familiarity with those mags in my MOLLE rig, I'd prefer my mags to be all the same and I want ot know if I will need to buy all new mags, or just supplement the ones I already have.

If I need to buy all new, my STRONG preference would be mags with a false extension that takes ranger plates or magpuls, similar to the pistol Thermolds about to hit the market.
