LAR15 extensions

Is there anyone out there that is currently making metal or polymer extensions for the LAR15 magazines to make them as long as a standard 30rd, or would you be breaking some stupid grey area law?

Say I bought one of these, http://www.botachtactical.com/itwmagboot.html and somehow made it fit so there was just enough magazine to fit into the magwell to make it a long as a standard magazine.

The Couplers work great, the only bad thing is if you dump a mag to the ground, the feed lips of the bottom mag get beat up. Not an issue sometimes or when doing tac reloads but if your on Concrete.....
 
This has been discussed many times before. No there is not and will not be any being made as of yet, something to do with RCMP I believe. CanadaAmmo had some listed on their website but they've been listed on the site for a while now and they have never been in stock.

The couplers are the best available option at this point.
