lar15 mag follower question

Hi

I bought a couple of the new ASC Lar15 10 round mags and they them to FTF and jam the bolt open often and When I use my RRA lar15 10 mag I never have FTF.

I took the both brand of mag apart and the follower on the ASC is touch the spring and are bent in slightly. and on the RRA they are not.

And I was wondering if they use a 30 round follower in them? If so I was thinking of buying some follower from magpul and install them.

I like the 10rnd mag and going to buy a 10 pak if I can get this problem fixed.

Tagged for interest, I picked up some of them too and JUST replaced the followers with the Magpul ones, working with snap caps, I get more double feeds with them than with the original followers... Gun works fine with PMags...

Any ideas?

Ive never had an issue with all mine. I have some that are ASC. I also put in a magpul follower just for good measure and still no issues.

Change the follower on all of your aluminum mags (10,20 or 30) rounds to the yellow or green Magpul.

Even the grey followers on the new d&h aluminum mags I just bought should be switched with magpul?

The followers in the D&H mags are enhanced anti-tilt. No need to change unless you manage to break one.

Just as a quick update to the issues with my Magpul followers, they just needed some working in, and seem to work fine
