LAR15 Mags and Ranger Plates?

Got my first AR, yeah I know, another M&P15 Sport II buyer. LOL

Anyone using Magpul Ranger Plates on their LAR15 10 round mags? Those mags are pretty short with not much to grasp onto to ensure they are seated. Or are people using extenders to have more purchase for fast mag swaps and mag pouch considerations?

Yes, yes, and yes.
Ranger Plates are a must have.

I had to trim the follower legs on all mine. They're trimmed enough to load 10 on a closed bolt.

Yes , and like 9x19p said , you might want to take some sand paper to the follower legs so you can fit 10 on a closed bolt .

Pretty sweet SBR Frank. Now my choices just got more complicated, what colour should I go with, FDE or keep it black, LOL.
