Why would you cover the bottom mag? That effectively defeats the purpose of coupling the mag..

Now, that really depends on how you use the coupler now, doesn't it. Say, you're shooting prone, do you really want to stick your open magazine face into the dirt & snow?
Considering the purpose of the coupler, is to couple 2 magazines together, and the dust cover doesn't prevent this, how can it defeat the purpose of the coupler?

your right they do.. I must of missed that. Again will test with a Tar 21 and WW AR15 once i get em.
