Large Game Pics - Deer, Moose, Bear...

Me with brother in laws Moose {head}, called in 400 yards to a road so it made it easier to get it out:D

And said Brother in laws's brother in law:confused: Does that even make sense? Anyway his first WT that I sweated my bag off for him to shoot, starting to think that maybe I should have pulled the trigger first:D

I've been playing guide so far this year:)

Didn't shoot that WT becuase I've been chasing a bigger one at the farm, plus he's only 16 and I figured he'd be more excited then I. I have my cow draw that is good until Dec 20 so I'll start looking for that after the gun's are done thundering at the end of November.

One more Moose to go, but he's still in Hawaii:rolleyes:

Trev's Moose was 51" across, I really like this one because of the drop on his left side. He would have been a fantastic Moose in a couple of years.

It's always hard to not imagine that, I always do too. He sure had the genetics to make it real big. Maybe his brother is still out there.

Thats some bull, with all that Orange I thought at first that it was shot by an outing of Railroad track men on patrol!
I am so glad we dont need that!

November 2006 Bull Elk

Here are a few pics of my buddy's 6x6 bull elk he got this past weekend. He come up to visit and go elk hunting as he missed moose camp this year-LUCKY BUGGER! At least his family wont starve this winter. I had better get a tenderloin supper when I go to visit him in February for a oldtimers hockey tournament.

Huge body on this bull.

Roe Bucks and 1 Fallow Buck and 1 fallow Buck Pricket!
The Fallow whilst not as big as woodland Red Deer are perhapson par size wise with good examples of Whitetail, Blacktail and Mule Deer.
Taste just as good as they look!
Those little trophies are scored and can get CIC medallions awarded. The Germans go potty for roe and Muntjac trophies. Now Muntjac there is one nasty little creature. You wouldnt want a wounded/p1ssed off one cornered as they can kill dogs, they breed all year and if a doe is without a foal she will be pregnant. An environmental disaster here yet still good eating and resonable trophies!
The biggish set on the shield in the middle was an old Fallow that I bagged on my first ever outing, its him in the photo. Well you always remeber the first time dont you!
