larger capacity mag

I have a Marlin XT 22 win mag bolt action rimfire rifle that came with a 4 shot and 7 shot magazine. is anybody aware of either a stock or aftermarket mag with 10 or more capacity that will fit this?

Promag makes a 25 round for the 795.It might fit the xt as well.

Curious abut why you shoot 50 round groups...?

I also don't get the drive for high-capacity all the time, but I don't need to. There are literally guys in other forums trying to figure out how to shorten Marlin mags so that they're flush~even though that reduces capacity. Marlin mags are among the cheapest 22 mags out there too, so just pick one up every time you go buy ammo and before you know it...you'll have a bunch. That's what I did.

If a Marlin 795 mag fits your XT, then there is a good chance the Pro Mag 25 rounder will work. Although nobody mentions them, Pro Mag also make (or made) 2 sizes of drum mags at one point, and it appears as though they still offer a 70 round one. About the size of a frying pan, but contact HiCal (CGN sponsor)..maybe they could get one for you.

With all the whining that 3 or 5 or 10 wasn’t enough, why not 50? Forces me to become smooth and accurate while tired and not foot dragging. Also gives a very honest picture of my shooting (offhand), or the rifle’s capability(bench). Too expensive to shoot centerfire this way though.
