Most of my hunting was with a 280. Shot a lot of deer with a 26-06. Moose was a 300 win. Had a pair of model 70 in 375 that were great to use. I’ve also hunted with my roller in 50-70 and sharps in 50-90. Not too bothered with recoil but I do like a good accurate rifle.
