Are the ranger Plates for usgi mags compatable for Lars 10 Rounders?

yes, the but the plastic locking plates will takes up space that roughly equals to 3 loops of magazine spring, you will need to do a bit of surgery.

Don't cut the spring. Just grind a bit off of the Magpul follower. Easy peasy.

I've installed magpul ranger plates in all 10 of my LAR-15 from questar(new stock) and it remains 10 rounds with no modifications required. Purchased late August.

I installed the Magpul Ranger plates on 20 of my LAR mags. Stock they will just barely hold 10 rounds(the 10th round it quite tight to get in), but they will NOT lock into the well on a closed bolt. I have a small band saw and set up a jig and ran all my followers through to remove about 0.140 of an inch off the bottom legs of the follower. Now they take the 10th round easily and will seat properly on a closed bolt.
